6.25 qt, Wide Oval Dutch Oven, black matte

STAUB Oval Dutch ovens are beloved for braising and slow-cooking large cuts of meat, a whole chicken, and crusty loaves of bread. Our new 6.25-Quart Wide Oval Dutch Oven now features 20% more cooking surface, so you can brown, sear, and roast with more base space, thanks to this newly designed Dutch oven shape. Cook an entire roast dinner with less crowding in this generously sized cast iron pot.

Our STAUB enameled cast iron requires no seasoning and possesses exceptional heat-retaining qualities. It heats evenly throughout, ensures exceptional browning, heat retention and distribution. Inspired by the shape of a Chistera basket, the unique and textured self-basting lid creates a rain-forest effect for continuous self basting. Food is always perfectly cooked…and intensely flavorful.

Rooted in French culinary heritage, STAUB cookware is beloved by professional and home chefs for its exquisite craftsmanship, exceptional performance, and timeless beauty. Each STAUB pot effortlessly and elegantly transitions from the oven to the table – you can cook and serve in the same dish. Built to last a lifetime, these heirloom pieces are designed to be passed from generation to generation.
